Otterbein Summer Chorale to Perform Free Concert

Westerville— The Otterbein Summer Chorale is sure to brighten your summer as they perform at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, at Church of the Messiah UMC, 51 N. State St. The Otterbein Summer Chorale will perform under the direction of Otterbein music majors Michael Grimm and Margot Marshall-Goetz, who are advised by Dr. Gayle Walker, director of choral activities. This performance is free and open to the public.

The program will feature works by Handel and Copland, as well as contemporary choral compositions by Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo, and Byron J. Smith. The choir comprises over 60 singers of all ages, drawn from the Otterbein community and throughout Columbus. The choir will be joined by Otterbein student musicians Dominica Bean (piano), Seth Sprang (drum set), and Eric Stratton (bass).
