Galena United Methodist Church, home of the famed Best Cooks in Galena, never fails to feed a host of folks on Election Day – Primary or General; and this Tuesday’s historic General Election will be no different.

The GUMC cooks will serve up the fellowship’s traditional and ever-popular non-partisan Galena United Methodist Church Election Day Chicken & Noodle Dinner.

Members of Galena UMC will serve food from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 7. Pecan rolls will be available in the morning; and lunch, featuring a variety of homemade soups and several sandwich options begins at 11 a.m.

A complete homemade Chicken & Noodle dinner runs from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. There will be lots of homemade pies and cakes to round out meals.

As always, prices are reasonable and profits go to church needs, the food is excellent, portions are generous, and the atmosphere, like the homemade pies on the desert table, is a slice of Americana.

Eat in or carry out. Credit cards accepted.

Galena United Methodist Church is located at 2777 Sunbury Rd., Galena.
