Kelly Forman, of Forman Realtors, said the Night of Laughter with Taylor Mason held on Saturday, July 23, at Big Walnut High School was a huge success.
The event, held as part of Forman Realtors 50 year anniversary and in honor of Forman Realtors founder Ted Forman, was a Big Walnut Education Foundation fundraiser.
“A Night of Laughter will benefit Big Walnut seniors and recent graduates for years to come,” Kelly Forman said. “A total of $1,117 was raised from community donations to Buck Buckets at the event, and Forman Realtors has matched that amount as promised – totaling $2,234 from Buck Buckets going to the Big Walnut Education Foundation.”
Kelly said in addition to the above, ticket sales and tickets purchased by Forman Realtors to give away an additional $3,044 was raised for education foundation.
“The Martin and Jessica Forman family rounded up the total, so A Night of Laughter ultimately raised $6,000 for future scholarships through the Big Walnut Education Foundation,” Kelly said. “The official dedication of the funds will happen at the next education foundation board meeting.”
Kelly also noted that Forman Realtors is sponsoring a Bicentennial Beard and Mustache Championship.
