PERI Chapter to Meet Dec. 5th

Public Employee Retirees Inc.’s Delaware County Chapter #36 will meet at 1:30 PM , Monday, December 5th, at SourcePoint, 800 Cheshire Rd., Delaware.

The speaker, Delaware County Sheriff, Russell Martin, will discuss domestic violence, scams, and the current climate faced by law enforcement.

White Coat Ceremony

Forty-nine students at the University of Findlay recently received a crisp white lab coat at the College of Pharmacy’s White Coat Ceremony. The ceremony signifies the students’ entrance into the third year of the six-year program, which is the first year of professional courses in the College of Pharmacy.

Lescinsky at St. Lawrence

CANTON, New York — St. Lawrence University has welcomed Erin Lescinsky of Galena as a member of the Class of 2020. Lescinsky attended Big Walnut High School.

Approximately 570 students enrolled at St. Lawrence this fall, including 54 of whom represent 25 countries around the world. Fifty-five percent of students come from outside New York State, and 45 percent graduated in the top-10 percent of their high school class.

Trump in Cincy

President-elect Donald Trump is kicking off a “thank-you” tour in Ohio.

Trump announced the plans Tuesday (Nov. 29) on his website. He and Vice President-elect Mike Pence will appear in Cincinnati at 7 p.m. Thursday night (Dec. 1).

Trump scored a decisive victory in Ohio.

Trump thrived on his large and often raucous rallies during the campaign. Trump has not announced any more stops on the tour, but his website also lists a rally with Pence in New Orleans on Saturday.
