Family and friends attended a memorial service for the Fleming family at the Liberty Presbyterian Church on Home Road and Olentangy River Road in Liberty Township on Jan. 10. The search for the Flemings’ plane that went down in Lake Erie continues. The second of two memorial services was for the plane’s pilot, John T. Fleming, his wife, Sue Fleming, and their teenage sons, Jack and Andrew.

Family and friends attended a memorial service for the Fleming family at the Liberty Presbyterian Church on Home Road and Olentangy River Road in Liberty Township on Jan. 10. The memorial service was for John T. Fleming, his wife, Sue Fleming, and their teenage sons, Jack and Andrew, who were on a small plane that crashed Dec. 29 over Lake Erie. Two other township residents, Brian Casey and his daughter Megan Casey, were also on the flight. Officials called off the search on Jan. 17 after debris and remains of three of the six people were found.
