Perennial volunteers

Big Walnut cheerleaders, Big Walnut/DACC FFA and LEO Club members, and Troop 701 Boy Scouts of America are perennial volunteers at the Sunbury Lions Club ox roast and community celebration, which was held Monday. They help at the JR Smith Park fire pit, this group is assembling sandwiches in Sunbury Town Hall, they work the serving lines, clear tables, empty garbage bins, and tackle a host of other tasks on an as-needed basis. Ask any Sunbury Lion and he or she would tell you that the annual ox roast could not happen without local youth volunteers.
