Nicholas Brennan named to Dean’s List at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Nicholas Brennan, of Westerville, has been named to the Dean’s List at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the Spring 2015 Semester. The Rensselaer Dean’s List recognizes full-time students who maintain grade-point averages of a minimum of 3.00 out of a possible 4.00 and have no grades below “C.”

Brennan studies Computer Science.

Kory Byrne named to President’s List at Shawnee State University

Shawnee State University (SSU) has released its President’s List for the Spring Semester 2015. To be named on the list, students must be full-time and have achieved a grade point average of 4.0.

Kory Byrne, Sunbury, majoring in Digital Simulation & Gaming has been named on the President’s List for Spring Semester 2015 at Shawnee State University. To be named on the list, students must be full-time and have achieved a grade point average of 4.00.

Mary Corner named to Shawnee State University’s Dean’s List for Spring 2015

Shawnee State University Provost Alan Walker, PhD, has released the Dean’s List for the Spring Semester 2015. To be named on the list, students must be full time and achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or better.

Mary Corner, Westerville, who is majoring in Intervention Specialist K-12, has been named to the list.

Courtney Jones Graduates from Carleton College

Courtney Jones, Westerville, graduated, Magna Cum Laude, with a BA in Psychology from Carleton College at its 141st Commencement exercises, held on Saturday, June 13.

Jones is the Daughter of Patricia and Hugh Jones of Westerville

David Caspers named to the University of Delaware’ Dean’s List for the 2015 spring semester

David Caspers, Westerville, has been named to the University of Delaware’s Dean’s List for the 2015 Spring Semester.

To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

Michael Lah,Westerville named to RIT Dean’s List

Michael Lah, Westerville, was named to the Dean’s List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring 2014-2015 semester.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete”, “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Shawnee State University held its commencement on Saturday, May 9, conferring degrees on 439 students with 250 receiving Bachelor’s Degrees and 179 receiving Associate’s Degrees and three graduates receiving Master’s Degrees.

Twenty graduated Summa Cum Laude with a grade point average of 3.9 or above, 40 graduated Magna Cum Laude with a grade average of 3.75 to 3.89, 103 graduated Cum Laude with an GPA average of 3.50 to 3.74 and eleven graduates were in the University Honors Program. Thirty-nine percent of this class graduated with honors.
