The eighth class of inductees into the District 11 Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame will be presented between the Boys’ All-Star Game and the Girls’ All-Star Game of District 11 at Granville High School on Friday, April 11. There will be a Hall of Fame Banquet at the Clover Valley Golf Course in Johnstown, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 12.
The Class of 2014 will consist of Fritz Caudle of Johnstown-Monroe High School, Steve Kesler a Sports Editor/ Sports Writer at The Sunbury News, and Pete Liptrap of Pickerington and Pickerington North High Schools.
The two coaches served a total of 45 years as head coaches of boys varsity basketball teams at the high school level and accumulated 590 victories. They are being honored, not only for their success as winning coaches, but also for their dedication to developing young players and a commitment to their profession. Kesler is being honored for his 28 years of contribution to the sport of basketball in District 11.
