Warhawks win tourney

The 2015-16 high school baseball season might be over, but for many players the season never ends. If the weather is good, and they’re on a club team, it’s always time to play ball. The Ohio Warhawks 18-U team outscored their opponents 37 to 14 in three games, winning the Harold Butt Memorial Tournament. Front row, from left, from Big Walnut, are Jakob Evans, Nick Green, Chad Little, Andrew Klamfoth and Jacob Young. Back row, from left are coach Kevin Evans, head coach Norman Klamfoth, Spencer Berg from New Albany, Michael Flynn from St. Charles, John Erhard from Newark Catholic, Eric Wilhelm from Jonathan Alder, Jon Oldaker from Hilliard Darby and coach Lloyd Huffer. Not shown are Big Walnut’s Henry von Hollen, Lane Wisner from Bellefontaine and Cameron Cheeseman from Gahanna Jefferson.
