Upcoming fundraiser benefits the Matthew Dotson Scholarship Fund
Dot Money Bowl-A-Rama features Shucking Bubba on July 8
COLUMBUS – The community is invited to an evening of fun at AMF Sawmill Lanes from 6-10 p.m. on July 8, 2017, for the Dot Money Bowl-A-Rama that benefits the Matthew Dotson Scholarship Fund.
Dotson, who would have graduated as part of the class of 2017, passed away unexpectedly two years ago. His death deeply affected the city of Dublin and specifically the Dublin Coffman High School community. This event was created to celebrate his life through things he loved – bowling, laughing, and hanging out with family and friends.
“Although it’s still very difficult for us to talk about Matt, we know that he is so loved and missed by his friends,” said Matt’s father, Keith. “This event raises money for the Matthew Dotson Scholarship Fund, created to support Dublin Coffman students who exemplify the character that Matt showed every day. It also allows us to heal a little more as we get together to remember his spirit.”
With food and drinks available for purchase, bowling, and live music by Columbus’ own Shucking Bubba and a Kendra Scott Trunk Show, this is sure to be an upbeat evening for everyone to enjoy.
Tickets start at $15. Please register in advance to attend by contacting email@example.com. Admission is $25. Corporate sponsorships are available beginning at just $100.
AMF Sawmill Lanes is at 4825 Sawmill Rd., Columbus, OH 43235.
