Breakout Vocalist Brings Tenacious Spirit to 92.3 WCOL’S Red, White & Country

Staff Report

WHO: CARLY PEARCE is a tenacious spirit with textured vocals and honest lyrics

WHAT: Topping several One’s To Watch lists, the “Every Little Thing” singer/songwriter heads to Columbus for 92.3 WCOL’s RED, WHITE & COUNTRY

WHERE: Flannagan’s | 6835 Caine Rd, Columbus, OH 43235

WHEN: SATURDAY (7/1) | Doors: 12:00P

WHY: Carly has been blazing her own trail in Country music with the depth of her songwriting, more than 35 invitations to play the Grand Ole Opry, a Top 40 hit (“Wasn’t That Drunk”) with Josh Abbott Band and joining the bill with notable artists such as Kip Moore, Cole Swindell, Eli Young Band, Kelsea Ballerini and Lucy Hale of Pretty Little Liars. Fans and critics have taken notice of her “earthy, textured voice” (Wide Open Country) as her first single “Every Little Thing” became a SiriusXM “Highway Find” and is currently the only single from a solo female in the Top 25 on the Country radio airplay charts. Rolling Stone Country, The Huffington Post, Country Living, Sounds Like Nashville, The Boot, Whiskey Riff and One Country have all named Carly an “Artist to Watch,” in addition to being selected as a CMT Listen Up “17 for 2017” artist and SiriusXM “Future Five for 2017.” Currently working on new music for her debut album on Big Machine Records with hit producer busbee (Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Maren Morris) 2017 is destined to be Carly’s breakout year.
