We’d like to thank everyone who came to the Party in the Park recently. Even with the hot temperatures, we loved seeing so many folks enjoying your new park. As Bill Holtry mentioned in his remarks, it’s hoped a gathering like this can become an annual event – perhaps an anniversary affair for the Berkshire Community Park.
It took a huge effort on the part of the Township staff, trustees and resident volunteers to turn a vision into a reality. We’re grateful to every person and organization for their help. A special thanks goes to the Delaware County Master Gardeners whose generous donation to the Learning Garden kicked off its creation, and to the United Way of Delaware County for the beautiful Born Learning Trail. Through their partnership with the Big Walnut High School National Art Honor Society and the Delaware Campus of Columbus State Community College, it’s easy for us to claim “The Best Born Learning Trail around!”
