FFA alumni members will hold their eighth annual scrap drive at Big Walnut High School on Saturday, April 23, and Sunday, April 24.
Containers will be set up for collection at the south end of the school near the ag science entrance.
Any scrap metal or iron — large items or small, even appliances — will be accepted, including beverage cans, scrap aluminum, copper, insulated copper wire, brass, scrap steel and sheet iron.
Items not accepted are microwave ovens, dehumidifiers, TVs and propane tanks.
On April 23, scrap may be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.; April 24 drop-off times are noon to 5 p.m. Big Walnut/DACC FFA members will be on site to help unload scrap.
All money raised will go towards Big Walnut/DACC FFA scholarships and member activities.
