‘Cram the Cruiser’

Genoa Township Police cruisers were in front of the Kroger on Maxtown Road in Westerville on Saturday. The police weren’t there to make arrests, but instead, to apprehend groceries for “Cram the Cruiser” — a food drive benefiting People In Need of Delaware County Ohio. Shoppers donated items for the PIN Food Pantry, such as cereal, canned fruit, baked beans, canned soup, boxed potatoes, pancake mix, pancake syrup, saltine crackers, pasta and spaghetti sauce. Those who donated were thanked by officers and Genoa Township trustees. To donate to PIN, visit delawarepeopleinneed.org, text 740-521-4244, or call 740-363-6284, ext. 100.
