Preservation Parks of Delaware has announced upcoming programs:
The following programs do not require registration:
Saturday, June 20, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday, June 21, 12 noon to 4 p.m. “Railroad Fun” — Watch model trains as they travel through a miniature village, and learn a bit about the railroad industry in America. Free; all ages. Big Walnut Community Trailhouse, 168 South Vernon Street, Sunbury.
Sunday, June 21, 2 p.m. “Habitat Happenings: Wetlands” — Bring the family out to explore wetland habitats and the importance they play in creating a healthy ecosystem. Free; all ages. Gallant Woods Preserve, 2150 Buttermilk Hill Road. (Meet in the sled hill parking area.)
Evening on the Farm to feature old-fashioned fun
Help make (and eat) ice cream, pitch horseshoes or play croquet, or sit on the porch and enjoy the quiet evening. “Evening on the Farm” will be held Saturday, June 27, 6 to8 p.m., at Gallant Farm, 2150 Buttermilk Hill Road. This program is free and for all ages.
Concert series to begin July 2
Celtic band, Lone Raven, based in Delaware County, will kick off the 2015 Thursday Evening Concert series on July 2. The free concerts will be held every Thursday evening for six weeks, 7 to 8:30 p.m., at Gallant Woods Preserve, 2151 Buttermilk Hill Road, just northwest of Delaware.
Attendees are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs, along with a picnic dinner. Alcohol is not allowed in the park.

• July 16: Ashleigh Kingsmore, Country
• July 23: Trombones Plus, Big Band
• July 30: Lords of Literature, 80s-Current Rock
