Big Walnut area folks are always looking for youth sports opportunities for their children, and those living in the northern portion of the school district might want to consider enrolling young soccer hopefuls for fall league play in the Mount Gilead Soccer League.
A recent email from the league notes that the Mount Gilead Soccer League serves youth from not only Morrow County, but also from the fringes of Knox, Delaware, Crawford and Richland counties as well.
The league serves over 200 youth players each year, ranging in age from age 5 through age 17. Players must be at least 5 by Sept. 6, and no older than 17 by Nov. 1.
The fall season fee is $35 per child. The fall season registration deadline is Monday, June 20.
League organizers said all forms and information must be postmarked by June 20 to be considered timely. If a postmark is missing or dated June 20 or later, the application will be accepted, but a $15 late fee will apply and must accompany registration.
Registration forms and additional information can be found online at mgsoccer.org.
Mail registration forms to M.G.S.L., P.O. Box 421, Mount Gilead, OH 43338.
