Delaware County Ramp Update Routes 36/37 to I-71 south

Ohio Department of Transportation

UPDATE: The ramp from Rt. 36/37 to I-71 south will remain one lane until the end of July. Though the concrete barrier wall has been removed, the ramp is still restricted to give crews room to complete the widening. Remaining work includes relocating a signal pole and moving guardrail.

71 Ramp

Previously, Rt. 36/37 eastbound traffic had a continuous right turn lane onto the ramp. Now, because there’s only one lane, both directions of traffic cannot turn at the same time so eastbound Rt. 36/37 traffic must stop on red.

Once work is complete, the ramp will return to two lanes with a continuous right turn from Rt. 36/37 east. The work is now expected to be complete by the end of July, weather permitting.
