From Blue Horseshoe Ventures

Blue Horseshoe Ventures, the ownership group and developer behind the upcoming action sports and entertainment destination in Sunbury, Ohio, announced that the contest to choose the name of the destination will end earlier than originally announced. Due to the overwhelming number of entries already received, submissions in the contest will now be due by October 31, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. instead of December 31, 2018, as originally planned.

“We were excited to see that, within days of announcing the contest, we’d already received hundreds of entries,” Ryan Stubenrauch, spokesman for Blue Horseshoe Ventures said. “We moved up the date of the contest to ensure that we’d have enough time to consider all of the entries, select a winner, and move forward with the next steps in the journey.”

Those interested in a chance to win the $1,000 Visa gift card and help cut the ribbon on opening day can still enter the contest by visiting BlueHorseshoeContest.com and submitting their idea for the $2 billion action sports and entertainment destination that will cover more than 350 acres.
