Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters’ signature fundraising event, and the Delaware County Big Brothers Big Sisters program is gearing up to hold a successful Bowl for Kids’ Sake event on November 6.
Presented by Handwritten Forward and NorthStar Golf Club, the goal of the Delaware Bowl for Kids’ Sake event is to raise $20,000 to support the work of Big Brothers Big Sisters in the Delaware community. Platinum Sponsor is J & J Mobility.
“The funds raised by Bowl for Kids’ Sake will stay right here in Delaware County and allow us to match more Delaware kids with a Big Brother or Big Sister,” says Mitchell Briant, Assistant Vice President, who leads the Delaware County program. “So when someone asks you to join their bowling team or contribute, we hope you do because it is a great way to have fun and help make our community a better place!”
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is a grassroots bowling fundraising event that offers fun for everyone. Participants form bowling teams of 4-5 people and raise money from now until November 6. On November 6, bowlers get together at a big celebration from 1-4 p.m. at Delaware Lanes, Route 36/37 East, 536 Sunbury Rd., Delaware 43015. There will be a full roster of entertainment, including raffles, complimentary dessert, music and fun.
Bowlers are asked to raise a minimum of $50/bowler. They can raise funds through this website: www.delawarebfks.kintera.org or they can bring funds to the event on November 6. There are many ways to raise the funds, including selling raffle tickets.
