SUNBURY — Family-owned and operated Washington Auto Parts, a nineteen-store automotive aftermarket store group in Central Ohio, announced today (Feb. 20) that it will be acquiring Principal Truck Supply, Inc. and will take over operations on March 1st, 2019.
One of the largest independent distributors of automotive parts in Central Ohio, Washington Auto Parts was founded in Johnstown, Ohio by Ken Washington in 1977, and is now co-owned and operated by his sons Mike and Bob Washington along with third generation owners Matt and Corey Washington.
Principal Truck Supply located at 4015 Fondorf Drive, Columbus, OH 43228 has been a staple in Columbus,Ohio for years. Servicing Central Ohio with their medium and heavy duty truck needs since 1991, Principal Truck supply is one of the largest independent distributors of heavy duty truck parts in Central Ohio. A member of HDA Truck Pride, North America’s largest independent provider of parts and service to the commercial vehicle aftermarket, allows Principal Truck Supply to be part of the best program in the country. The group offers a full machine shop, including engine block work, cylinder head work, U-joint installation, press work, and turning drums and rotors. The group also specializes in agriculture, hydraulic hoses,tools, equipment, and automotive paint.
