Preservation Parks of Delaware County is offering two adults-only nature hikes.
Adults 21 and older are invited to join Preservation Parks for two nature hikes this winter. Both hikes are free, and no registration is required.
• Sunday, Jan. 10, 1 p.m. “Winter Ramble for Adults.” Participants will explore the shale cliffs and streams, and end up in the lodge for hot drinks and snacks. Shale Hollow Preserve, 6320 Artesian Run, Lewis Center.
• Saturday, Feb. 6, 1 p.m. “After Groundhog Day Winter Ramble.” In the midst of winter, participants will go looking for their shadows and signs of spring. After the walk, they will gather in front of the shelter fireplace for hot drinks. Emily Traphagen Preserve, 5094 Seldom Seen Road, Powell.
