To the editor:
On Feb. 3, our AEP electric went off and it didn’t come back on again until 5:35 a.m. Feb. 4.
I’m 95 years old and, because I couldn’t reach the chain to release the garage door, I walked to the neighbors. No one was home. I had my white cane and another brown one.
This was at Fredricks and Centerburg roads. Black, white and red cars (passed) from all directions but no one would stop to help me.
When you need flowers, I might suggest that you call the Molly’s Flowers and More (shop). Her driver did (stop) and brought me right to my front door. The very next time I see someone stranded, I’ll stop and offer help.
