Daniel Bailey Member of Ashland University Club Tennis Team
ASHLAND, OH (12/14/2017)— Daniel Bailey of Galena, OH, is a member of the club tennis team at Ashland University.
Bailey is majoring in accounting.
He is the son of Todd and Melissa Bailey of Galena. Bailey is a 2014 graduate of Big Walnut High School.
Competitive sport clubs compete with other university or town sponsored sport clubs, or teams, and travel to different events/games throughout the year. Competitive sport clubs are more serious in nature, similar to varsity athletics, and may involve playoff components to conclude their season.

Ohio Wesleyan University senior Seth Clark (Lewis Center/Olentangy) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 27, it was announced by the NCAC.
Clark, a guard on the Ohio Wesleyan men’s basketball team, was named Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, marking the second consecutive week in which he received that honor.
Clark scored 6 straight points during a first-half run that opened up a 20-point lead in Ohio Wesleyan’s 81-59 win over Otterbein on Tuesday. He led the Bishops with 28 points and 9 rebounds. Clark then had 5 points as Ohio Wesleyan scored on its first 6 possessions in building a 14-2 lead, then knocked down a 3-pointer to end a Capital rally that had narrowed the Bishop lead to 7 during Ohio Wesleyan’s 87-70 win over Capital on Sunday. He finished with 24 points. On the week, he averaged 26.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game, shot .588 from the field (20 of 34), and was 10-for-18 (.556) from 3-point range.
