Boys Basketball

The boys basketball team picked up their 4th win of the season Friday with a 71-29 OCC win over Franklin Heights. The boys are now 4-5 on the season and well on their way to have one of their better seasons in recent years.

Girls Basketball

The girls basketball team beat Franklin Height Friday 79-15 to improve to 7-4 on the season. The Lady Eagles host Westerville Central Tuesday.

Girls Bowling

The Lady Eagles defeated Liberty 1595-1536 and were led again by Anna Tanners’s 307 series. With the win the Lady Eagles are now 4-3 on the season.

Boys Bowling

The Big Walnut Boys lost a tough one last Thursday to Olentangy Liberty by a score of 2050 to 2019. They were led by Johnny Lemaster’s team high series of 371.

Gymnastics

Senior Mary Dimitroff continues her stellar high school career by placing 4th overall at Kilbourne this past week vs many of the top teams in Central Ohio. Recently, Mary was named Athlete of the Week. Mary was overall champion on the beam which continues to be her best event.

Swimming/Diving

The boys and girls swimming teams continue to have success under the leadership of Coach Becky Brigham. The girls are 6-5 and the boys are 9-2 through 11 dual meets. Both the boys and girls teams continue to produce several personal bests in each meet.

Cole Foster has also beaten 2 returning state qualifiers at 138 lb.
