Big Walnut Runner of the week…. COLBI BORLAND !

Colbi broke her own school record that she set near the end of last season with a time of 18:46. She finished right behind the girl who finished 21st in last years state championship.

Among the people who finished BEHIND her yesterday were the 38th, 53rd , and several other finishers in the State Championship last year! Colbi’s time was 83 seconds faster than what she ran in this same meet last year!

Our girls finished 12th out of 28 teams. OCC rival New Albany got the better of us this time, but we easily handled OCC teams Newark, Groveport and Franklin Hts.

The boys were 26th out of 31 and we defeated Groveport and Franklin Hts. Newark and New Albany were 18th and 19…. Not that far ahead of us. Coach Kevin Lewis

Next up is the Otterbein Invitational Next Saturday.

Girls Golf Update

Lady Eagles are making an improvement with this only the second year of having a girls golf team.

I’d like to take a moment to express how pleased I am with everyone’s performance at the OCC today. What I saw today was a fantastic demonstration of focus, perseverance, and commitment. As a result, we were able to beat our best 18 hole team score by 15 shots as well as break the 400 mark with a 393. On top of that, we had 3 personal bests for an 18 hole match. Well done!! Keep up the good work! — Coach Audrey Nelson

Boy Soccer 2-1 over Dublin Scioto on Futbol Friday night.

Almost 500 people came out to Friday night Futbol to see our Boys Soccer Team beat Dublin Scioto 2-1 and eat some good food from the Food Trucks. Thanks to Coach Gatton and Boys Soccer Parents for organizing this event.
